Baia Station (Cumana Line)

Design of Civil and Technological Works and Railway Infrastructure Systems. Preliminary and final civil works and technological systems (civil and specialised) to complete the redevelopment and upgrading of the station in the Baia area of general upgrading and modernization of the Sepsa S.p.a. Cumana line. In view of reutilization of the railway and the new way of interpreting the stations in the urban context, the project includes the completion and the renovation of Baia station and surrounding areas with particular attention to the restoration of an abandoned area of the old Cumana Railway track through the creation of a mechanized link between the area of the old station and Piazza De Gasperi. The project is organized in two phases of implementation:
Phase 1 will allow the activation of the station in compliance with safety standards and full and extensive use of the transport system.
Phase 2 will complete the entire work, with the redevelopment of the surrounding area and the recovery and functionalization of the disused railway center, which will be equipped with mechanized and traditional footpaths and connect the new station with the city center. The works planned at this stage consist essentially of the following activities: civil structural works for the safety of the ridge above the station, civil works and architectural finishes, technological systems and fire safety.
