The Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A. company has entrusted us with the construction design of the new ordinary and extraordinary maintenance depot for its high-speed trains.
The intervention area of approximately 300,000 m2 was identified in the municipality of Nola (NA), in the immediate vicinity of the Interposto Campano, as a tertiary area already connected to the R.F.I. railway network.
The design had its critical elements, both due to the multiplicity of specialist skills required in the most advanced sector of the railway sector, and due to the limited time available as the work had to be designed and built in just 23 months.
Our specialists, starting from a definitive project, have developed the entire construction design relating to:
• Civil works relating to both the storage and maintenance structures for the rolling stock and the offices of the Depot staff
• All civil systems serving the Depot (electrical, water, fire prevention, heating, refrigeration, sewerage network)
• 3,000 V DC and 15,000 V AC railway electrification system including the main transformation substation
• Railway superstructure
• Railway signaling with interfacing to the R.F.I. network.
• Supervision and control system for all the systems of the Maintenance Depot
Costruire S.p.A. operated in such a way as to invest the best specialists in the sector in the Project. coordinating and supervising their work in such a way that the design was guaranteed within very tight deadlines, while maintaining very high technological and safety levels.
