To this end, they thought to move their business to a place that would definitely help them to cope with the difficulties of <strong>customer parking<\/strong>, <strong>loading and unloading goods<\/strong> and the resulting <strong>storage<\/strong>; that place was located in the territory of <strong>Nola<\/strong> on the outskirts of Naples. <br \/> Thus, in <strong>1996<\/strong> the <strong>CIS of Nola<\/strong> was born, founded by an initial group of <strong>twelve entrepreneurs<\/strong> which has since grown to number approximately <strong>320<\/strong> with their respective companies.<\/p>\n<p>The entrepreneurs of <strong>CIS<\/strong>, exploiting the opportunities granted by the \u201c<strong>GENERAL TRANSPORT PLAN<\/strong>\u201d, founded the<strong> Interporto Campano<\/strong> in <strong>1999<\/strong>, an <strong>intermodal transport <\/strong>and <strong>logistics terminal<\/strong> among the most important in <strong>Italy<\/strong> and <strong>Europe<\/strong>. In addition, a basement of about <strong>1,140 m2<\/strong> (with an accompanying garage) was also included. The bearing structure of the building is of <strong>pre-stressed concrete<\/strong> and <strong>reinforced concrete<\/strong>; the facades of the building were made using the \u2018<em>curtain wall<\/em>\u2019 system.<br \/>The construction of five halls inside the <strong>Interporto Campano of Nola (NA)<\/strong>, located on an area of approximately <strong>60,000 m2<\/strong> is primarily for commercial use. When other developments are considered, such as the basic supporting infrastructure on the surrounding land, the total land area swells to roughly <strong>80,000 m2<\/strong>.
